FAQ
What are the benefits of Direct Care?
DPC offers a wide range of benefits including:
- Same-day and next-day service scheduling
- Exclusion of expensive insurance companies
- Direct patient-to-doctor communication
- Labs
- Annual wellness labs
- Special prices on hormone pellets and body sculpting
- Extended visits
- Unlimited access to your doctor
How are Direct Care doctors able to spend more time with patients?
Many family doctors in the US include up to 3000 patients in their practices. DPC practices accept only a few hundred, allowing doctors to spend more time with and working for their patients rather than trying to cram in as many appointments as possible.
We know your time is valuable, and ours is too. Out of respect for our staff and our other clients, we ask that you give us at least 24 hour notice if you need to cancel an appointment. Please cancel by calling our office our messaging us through Spruce.
The first time a client misses an appointment, we will make a note in your file. All future missed appointments will incur a $35.00 fee with limited exceptions, i.e. Death of a family member, hospitalization and severe illness.
Appointments for the purpose of establishing care that are a no show/no call will be charged the full amount of the appointment.
Is there copay involved?
One of the (many) great things about DPC is that there is absolutely no copay. Your monthly membership covers all visits and checkups.
What type of visits or treatment can be handled virtually?
Generally speaking, if you don’t require a physical examination then contacting us virtually should be fine. But if you do have something that requires a physical check up such as an infection or cough, then it’s recommended that you visit the clinic in person.
