Our Doctors

Dr. Haug and Dr. Cantu are board-certified family physicians and must receive 50 hours of continuing education per year and recertify every 10 years. When Dr. Haug and Dr. Cantu are both out of the office, a qualified nurse practitioner is on hand to make sure that everything runs smoothly.

David Cantu, M.D.

dr-cantu-9.jpg Dr. Cantu is fluent in Spanish and has been setting the highest standards of excellence in family medicine for more than 25 years. As a board-certified Diplomat of the American Board of Family Medicine, Dr. Cantu is committed to delivering high-quality healthcare to the Spanish-speaking community of the Texas Hill Country. He earned his medical degree from UT Southwestern Medical School before completing post-graduate training at John Peter Smith Hospital.

When not in our office, Dr. Cantu also works as an Urgent Care Physician and is active in the community. He enjoys spending his downtime with his family traveling, camping, and bicycling.

Yvonne Haug, M.D.

Haug.jpg Dr. Haug has been delivering the highest quality medical care to her patients for over 30 years. She completed her medical education at the UT Health Science Center then completed her Family Practice residency at St. Paul Medical Center. A family medicine specialist, Dr. Haug is also board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine Hospice and Palliative Medicine. Dr. Haug is an active member of both the Texas Medical Association and the County Medical Society. She is Medical Director of Hill Country Memorial Hospice and Windcrest Nursing and Rehabilitation. Her medical interests include:

When out of the office Dr. Haug enjoys listening to live music and dancing, along with her newfound passion for hunting. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.
